Research Events

Whatever your musical interests, we invite you to further your knowledge in a stimulating range of talks and presentations given by specialists from across the music profession.

Each term the RCM presents a regular seminar series: Music and Ideas, addressing fascinating historical and contemporary issues and often excavates the music of unjustly forgotten composers.

The RCM is also involved with a number of other special events, including the biennal International Symposium on Performance Science (ISPS) - a meeting of performers and scientists to discuss performance and the skills which underpin it.
