Volunteer & support the RCM Museum

Participation event
The Royal College of Music Museum is currently undergoing a remarkable transformation and developing exciting plans for the future. We are delighted to be offering volunteer roles, placements and paid internships during this period, allowing you to join us on our journey.

Different opportunities will arise at different times and some may recur throughout the redevelopment project. If you are interested in these opportunities please check this page regularly for details of the latest posts being offered.

Volunteering opportunities

We aim to make sure all our volunteers are welcomed, respected and given chances to develop their knowledge, skills and experience. We are offering volunteer roles in the following areas:

Digitisation

Digital volunteers will be able to get up close to collections material and help us in our quest to make our collections available online. You could assist in photographing our collections, help us put information online, create audio-visual content, or design a virtual exhibition as well as a whole host of other opportunities.
