Berenice Beverley Zammit is a Royal College of Music scholar who is currently reading for a PhD in Performance Science. Berenice’s research title is 'Preparing to Perform: An Investigation of Performance Preparation Routines and Their Impact on Music Performance Anxiety'. Berenice is a violinist with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra. She is also a violin tutor and music educator. Berenice was awarded a scholarship by the Istituto Italiano di Cultura to complete her studies in violin performance and her Diploma di Violino in Siena, Italy. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician mainly in Italy, the UK, France and Malta and has performed in many international televised events. Berenice completed her MSc in Performance Science with the Royal College of Music focusing on physical exercise and injury prevention in musicians. She also completed her B.A. (Hons) in English Studies and a P.G.C.E. Berenice has been supported by the Leverhulme Postgraduate Award and currently by the MGSS and the Robert McFadzean Whyte Award.
